Workday will work. Whether your people adopt it is a different question.
The technology is best-in-class. But success or failure in your Workday deployment is determined by the human side.
You've wanted this technology upgrade for years. It's finally here.
You're rightfully excited. But you're also worried.
It's more than technology. It's also a transformational change for your people:
✅ Helping your HR team become more strategic and efficient
✅ Developing your leaders, managers, and supervisors to lead change.
Unfortunately, most organizations fail on the human side. They haven't deliberately built the change leadership they need to realize the value of a Workday HCM deployment.
The depth behind the perspective
I've led organizational change for 7 separate Workday deployments covering all of the human capital modules — Core HR, Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits Administration, Payroll Solutions, Time Tracking and Absence, and Workforce Planning and Analytics — as well as Finance modules including Workday Financial Management and Procurement.
I've worked alongside four different system implementation partners and led change for global audiences in nearly 20 countries.
All clients brought me back for successive phases of their Workday journey. That means I've seen how organizations launch Workday, and how they grow through it over time.
That longitudinal experience shapes everything I teach: what makes a Workday deployment succeed isn't the methodology or the templates. It's whether you create the behavioral conditions where people are genuinely ready, willing, and able to change how they work.
I mentor program sponsors and guide internal change leaders on how to turn this once-in-a-career moment into a growth opportunity for your organization and its leaders.

Why changecapable is different
Most approaches treat organizational change as an activity management exercise. Send the right messages, build the right training materials, launch the right campaigns. Check the boxes on the project plan.
The research — and my experience across 7 deployments — is consistent: that approach reaches roughly 10 percent of how adults actually learn. The other 90 percent happens through experience, relationships, and the quality of leadership in the room.
changecapableTM is a behavioral science approach to organizational change. It was developed after leading four national digital health product launches and applied successfully to Workday and other major technology transformations. It works because it targets the root cause of failed adoption: designing change for how humans actually behave, not how we wish they did.
The result is higher change adoption, faster. Applied through on-the-job learning moments like a Workday deployment, leaders develop muscle memory that helps them now and later.
What Workday clients say:
Claudine Weiler
Managing Director, Total Rewards & Employee Services at The Toro Company
"After working with Kris, I've started incorporating milestones into projects that focus on ensuring the voice of customer / stakeholder feedback much earlier with the goal of understanding what questions and issues there will be and gaining a better understanding of the desired outcomes."
Jill Claggett
HR Director, Total Rewards, Benefits, HRIS, Global, M&A at ICU Medical (client at Apogee Enterprises and Harmon)
"Kris came into our project with prior Workday change management experience. She quickly learned how our culture was different and then proposed a plan. She was spot on for our needs and delivered the project with kindness. Everyone enjoyed working with her and appreciated her ability to be a straight shooter."
Kelsy Willison
HR Director, Harmon
"Kris helped me learn how to calm the fear and chaos of people experiencing change and how to advocate for the best path within my organization."
